I joined the DMOZ with the intent to ensure fair and appropriate placement of websites related to homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgendered people. I have found that ODP staff and fellow editors are very accepting of lifestyle diversity, sexual orientation, and are supportive of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered editors/users/people and websites.
